Solution Architect

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Solution Architect to define and govern solution architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the role ensures solutions align with organisational objectives, architecture standards, and strategic roadmaps. The position also drives the design of scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions that support successful project delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Lead current-state assessments across business processes, applications, data, and technology landscapes, identifying opportunities, risks, and dependencies.
• Define the target-state architecture and architecture vision, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and business strategy.
• Design and maintain business, application, data, and technology architecture artefacts, including capability maps, systems inventories, integration models, and architecture roadmaps.
• Evaluate solution options and provide architectural guidance, balancing business requirements, technical feasibility, risk, cost, and strategic objectives.
• Drive architecture governance through the creation of Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), stakeholder engagement, risk management, and participation in review and approval boards.
• Develop transition architectures and implementation roadmaps, collaborating with business, technology, project, and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery and operational readiness.

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, governance processes, and solution design best practices.
• Experience producing architecture artefacts, including target-state designs, impact assessments, ADRs, and roadmaps.
• Experience designing integrations, managing data flows, and assessing technology dependencies across multiple systems.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, and vendor teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
