YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (L3) with Technical Project Management capabilities to manage enterprise-grade Oracle environments while driving key database and infrastructure initiatives. The role combines deep technical expertise with delivery ownership, ensuring stability, performance, and successful execution of transformation and migration programs
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Deliver advanced L3 Oracle DBA support across on-premise and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Manage Oracle database administration activities including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies using RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, capacity planning, and complex incident resolution within SLA targets.
- Lead end-to-end database and infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, stakeholder reporting, and go-live support.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, dependencies, escalations, and operational transitions.
- Drive cloud migration and datacenter transformation initiatives while ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Maintain governance, compliance, audit readiness, and operational excellence through SOPs, automation, KPI/SLA adherence, and continuous improvement.
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience working with RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN and in large enterprise environments.
- Strong performance tuning expertise using AWR and ADDM.
- Hands on Cloud experience (Azure/AWS).
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix knowledge.
- Proficient in scripting (Shell/Python).
- Bring project management experience across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Certification: ITIL Foundation, ITIL certification ( Practitioner/Intermediate), ITL knowledge.
- Strong Oracle DBA (L3) expertise and Oracle Certification (OCP/OCA) is preferred.
