- Lead end to end design of interfaces, data flows, and authentication workflows across OT and IT systems.
- Ensure interoperability between control systems, identity platforms, devices, and enterprise applications.
- Architect authentication and authorization integrations using AD or similar directory services.
- Support role based access models, credential flows, and secure login mechanisms.
- Produce high level and low level design documents, interface specifications, and configuration guides.
- Oversee integration build, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Ensure integrations follow corporate security standards, data integrity principles, and regulatory expectations (e.g., GxP, Part 11).
- Conduct risk assessments and support validation/testing as required.
- Work closely with OT, IT, cybersecurity, QA/CSV, and vendor teams to align integration designs with business and compliance needs.
- Communicate technical options, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.
- Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance improvements for integrated systems.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and lifecycle management practices for integration components.
YOUR PROFILE
- 15–20+ years in integration/solution architecture, with 3–5+ years in regulated biopharma environments.
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, delegation models, conditional access (Entra), cert management/PKI, LDAP, and federation (SAML/OAuth/OIDC).
- Proficiency in CSV practices and documentation (requirements, risk assessments, testing, traceability).
- Integration tooling and protocols: OPC UA/DA, REST APIs, message brokers, scripting (PowerShell), and Windows security hardening.
- Ability to translate shop floor needs into robust, validated designs.
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight.
- Structured risk based decision making and clear communication under time constraints.
