Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Project Technical Senior Engineer to act as the design leader and single point of contact for all technical aspects of customer projects, ensuring compliance with performance, quality, cost, and time requirements. You will lead technical teams, coordinate stakeholders, and manage risks to deliver integrated solutions that meet customer expectations.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Lead and approve basic and detailed design for integrated solutions, ensuring compliance with customer and contract requirements.
- Coordinate technical activities across project stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare technical specifications, design notes, and reports; participate in design meetings and FAT.
- Manage technical risks, changes, and opportunities; alert the Project Manager of any issues impacting performance or customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers, leading discussions and clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric quality processes, safety standards, and governance principles.
- Share best practices, coach junior engineers, and stay updated on technical innovations.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years leading technical scope of projects in Electrical Distribution; experience in other market segments or customer applications is a plus.
- Ability to lead functional and remote technical teams; collaborative mindset with coaching and knowledge-sharing abilities.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) on technical topics.
- Knowledge of applicable standards and ability to apply them.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the EMEAS region.
- Valid Category B driving licence.
- Ability to make decisions in complex contexts with incomplete information.
