System Integration Engineer

Your Role:
- Analyze source-system integration requirements and define data ingestion patterns into Snowflake.
- Build and support integrations from portfolio management systems, accounting platforms, investment systems, market data sources, file repositories, APIs, databases, and vendor platforms.
- Design ingestion workflows for batch, scheduled, file-based, API-based, and database-driven data feeds.
- Support secure connectivity, authentication, data transfer, encryption, and monitoring requirements.
- Work with Snowflake Data Engineers to ensure source data is landed, validated, transformed, and available for downstream processing.
- Support historical data migration and backfill from legacy systems, spreadsheets, file stores, and source platforms.
- Implement data ingestion controls, error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and reconciliation checks.
- Support data lineage and metadata capture for ingested data sets.
- Troubleshoot integration issues across systems, networks, data formats, APIs, permissions, and source availability.
- Document integration specifications, data flows, schedules, dependencies, and operational runbooks.
Your Profile:
- 5+ years of experience in system integration, data integration, ETL/ELT, API integration, or middleware implementation.
- Experience integrating financial, investment, accounting, portfolio, or market data systems.
- Experience with batch files, APIs, databases, SFTP, schedulers, ETL/ELT tools, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience with Snowflake ingestion patterns is preferred.
- Experience supporting historical data loads and data migration activities.
- Familiarity with security, encryption, access controls, logging, and monitoring.
