YOUR ROLE

As a .NET Software Engineer at Capgemini, you design and build scalable, high-quality software solutions. You work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, maintainable and future-proof applications.

You operate in modern engineering environments at the intersection of cloud, microservices and AI-enabled development, contributing across the full software lifecycle while ensuring solutions are secure, reliable and aligned with enterprise standards.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable .NET applications aligned with functional and non-functional requirements
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through testing (unit and integration), code reviews and engineering best practices
  • Contribute to solution design and provide technical input on architecture (microservices, APIs, cloud-native)
  • Build and expose robust APIs using ASP.NET Core, following REST and OpenAPI standards
  • Implement secure applications using modern authentication and authorization mechanisms (OIDC, OAuth2, JWT, claims)
  • Leverage modern tooling and AI-assisted development practices to optimize productivity and quality

YOUR PROFILE

  • Strong experience in C# and modern .NET, including recent versions such as .NET 8/10, building enterprise-grade applications
  • Proven expertise in ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, MVC and RESTful services, including Swagger/OpenAPI, experience with Blazor and any other modern front-end framework (Angular, React, Vue, ...)
  • Solid knowledge of Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, including data modeling and performance optimization
  • Experience with modern development practices: testing (unit/integration), CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
  • Language proficiency in Dutch and/or French, and English
