Transportation Project Manager | Railway

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional activities leading to the successful delivery of transportation project components, ensuring both client requirements and quality, cost, delivery, and performance objectives are met.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Managing cross-functional stakeholders, activities and deliverables at the component level, making necessary arbitrations across engineering, product/process, make-or-buy decisions, costs, milestones, and interfaces
• Coordinating component activities with other project stakeholders including integration teams, other components and project-level functions
• Planning, monitoring, controlling and managing component end-to-end activities including scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, and opportunities
• Leading teams to achieve project objectives, synchronizing stakeholders at component level and ensuring alignment
• Implementing and managing component work breakdown structures, KPIs, and reporting with transparency
• Representing the company in client-facing situations and managing external stakeholder relationships
• Coordinating the resolution of cross-cutting optimizations or issues across multiple components

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• 2+ years of experience managing operational scopes in transportation or related industries
• Experience working in multinational environments and across different business cultures
• Strong knowledge of project management processes and methodologies
• Excellent coordination and leadership skills with ability to manage multi-site/multi-discipline teams
• Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English and French (desirable); additional languages are an asset
• Experience in transportation systems, particularly rail or mobility solutions, is highly desirable
