Job Description
As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and analyzing experimental tests aimed at verifying the quality and performance of products in accordance with applicable technical specifications. Together with your team, you will work on exciting projects to deliver tailored technological solutions to meet global needs of our client.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Write test plans and draft test protocols while considering applicable normative requirements.
- Participate in data post-processing, draft test reports, and distribute them to the concerned parties.
- Ensure the archiving of raw and post-processed data, as well as associated reports.
- Define the appropriate instrumentation for measuring physical quantities, considering the test or demonstration conditions.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of test equipment (sensors, recording racks, cameras, etc.).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the "Tests and Special Measurements" department.
- Participate in Design Reviews to bring a perspective on testability and accessibility of subsystems.
Your Profile
At Capgemini Engineering, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has minimum 3 years’ experience in instrumentation, signal processing, and data processing.
- Knowledge of special measurements (vibratory, strain measurements) and experience with test equipment (vibration, thermal, strain gauges, pressure, …).
- Has an Engineering Degree or equivalent in testing, instrumentation, electromechanics, electronics, or related fields.
- Excellent command of English (oral and written).
- Knowledge of standards and regulations.
