Technology Transfer Specialist | Life Sciences

Job Description

As a Tech Transfer Specialist in the Life Sciences division with focus on vaccines, you will play a critical role in managing the transfer of vaccine manufacturing processes, analytical methods, and technologies from R&D to commercial production or between manufacturing sites. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient technology transfers in the vaccine development and production space.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Leading technology transfer projects for vaccine products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Developing and reviewing technology transfer protocols, reports, and other documentation to support the transfer of vaccine manufacturing processes
• Conducting gap analyses between sending and receiving sites to identify potential risks and mitigation strategies specific to vaccine production
• Facilitating knowledge transfer between teams through effective training and communication on vaccine manufacturing processes
• Troubleshooting process deviations and implementing corrective actions during transfer activities for vaccine production
• Supporting validation activities to ensure transferred vaccine processes meet all quality and regulatory requirements

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technology transfer within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with specific experience in vaccine development and manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, ICH guidelines, and pharmaceutical quality systems applicable to vaccine production
• Experience with process validation and qualification methodologies for vaccine manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with various vaccine platforms (e.g., mRNA, viral vector, protein subunit, etc.) and their specific manufacturing requirements
• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
