Technical CAD Drawer - Life Sciense

Your Role

We are looking for a Technical CAD Drawer to join our engineering team and support the design and development of electrical and automation projects within industrial environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining high-quality electrical schematics and technical documentation . Working closely with engineers, project managers, and technical teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.

In this role, you will play a key role in:

  • Developing and updating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and technical drawings using EPLAN 
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), cable lists, terminal plans, and electrical design files
  • Collaborating with electrical engineers, automation specialists, and project managers to translate technical requirements into detailed drawings
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and internal engineering procedures
  • Supporting design reviews and incorporating feedback throughout the project lifecycle
  • Participating in technical problem-solving activities and providing drawing modifications when required
  • Maintaining drawing databases and ensuring documentation accuracy and traceability
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation and design processes

Your Profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong technical background in electrical drafting and design.

You bring:

  • A degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Industrial Automation, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Technical CAD Drawer, Electrical Designer, or Drafting Technician
  • Strong hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric P8
  • Good understanding of electrical systems, industrial installations, control panels, and automation equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, electrical standards, and engineering documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering projects is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering document management tools
  • Fluent French (written and spoken)
  • Professional English (B2–C1 level)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both local and international stakeholders
