Systems Engineer - PowerShell Developer

Job Description

Your role:
The consultant will spend around 70% of his/her time developing, mainly using pure PowerShell and PowerShell Studio, with a smaller part related to workstation support and validation activities.

Core responsibilities:
- Reviewing, validating and maintaining existing PowerShell scripts
- Source code management
- Managing and updating PowerShell modules used by the team
- Managing login scripts for all workstations
- Managing the scheduled tasks server and the related tasks
- Centralising and aggregating information coming from logs, databases or Active Directory, upon request

From a technical perspective, candidates are expected to demonstrate solid and hands on experience in PowerShell, including:
- Querying SQL Server via PowerShell
- Querying Active Directory via ADSI (no Active Directory module available on workstations)
- Centralising and processing logs in different formats
- Working with Windows instrumentation layers (WMI / CIM)
- A good understanding of object oriented programming as well as knowledge of Windows internals (Registry, .NET, etc.) will be considered strong assets.
- Knowledge of French would be considered an asset.
