YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Process Supply Chain Engineer to support and optimise vehicle logistics operations within a large automotive hub in Zeebrugge. Working closely with operational teams, you will analyse existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

 

In this role you will play a key role in:

 

  • Analysing operational workflows and driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and service quality across the vehicle logistics hub
  • Monitoring operational KPIs and recommending corrective actions to ensure performance targets are consistently met
  • Collaborating closely with warehouse, yard, and logistics teams to improve vehicle flow and overall operational performance
  • Supporting the implementation of Lean, Kaizen, and operational excellence methodologies to embed a culture of continuous improvement
  • Coordinating improvement projects across departments, engaging stakeholders at all levels and benchmarking against best-in-class industry practices

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a process engineering or operational improvement role
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and observations into actionable improvement plans
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with both shopfloor teams and senior management
  • A proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for operational excellence and safety
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a strong advantage
  • Start date: January 2027
