Your Role
As a Sub-System Manager, you will be responsible for the management and successful completion of cross-functional activities leading to the delivery of a project sub-system, fulfilling both customer needs and committed Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) objectives.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Managing cross-functional sub-system level stakeholders, activities and deliverables to reach QCDP commitments
- Making necessary arbitrations across engineering, product x process, Make or Buy decisions, costs, milestones, and interfaces
- Coordinating sub-system activities with other project stakeholders including integration teams, other sub-systems, and project level functions
- Implementing and managing the sub-system Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Planning, monitoring, controlling and managing sub-system end-to-end activities (scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, savings, opportunities)
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 3+ years experience as manager of an operational scope
- Experience working in and with multi-national companies across different business cultures
- Strong coordination and communication skills with a results-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies
- Capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-discipline teams
- Fluency in French and English (oral and written); additional languages are an asset
