Simulation Engineer

Your Role

As a Simulation Engineer specializing in mechanical engineering and finite element analysis, you will play a crucial role in our renewable energy projects, with a focus on hydrogen technology. You will leverage your expertise in simulation techniques and mechanical behavior of materials to develop innovative solutions that contribute to a sustainable future.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Developing and validating FEA models for complex mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring accuracy and reliability of simulation results
• Interpreting simulation outcomes and providing actionable recommendations to design and engineering teams to optimize product performance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation findings into product development processes, particularly in hydrogen technology applications
• Optimizing designs for strength, durability, and compliance with industry standards while meeting project requirements
• Documenting simulation methodologies, assumptions, and results in detailed technical reports that can be understood by various stakeholders

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 0-5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEA
• Proficiency in Abaqus (Standard and/or Explicit) and ability to develop effective simulation models
• Strong understanding of material behavior, including plasticity, contact mechanics, and large deformation analysis
• Experience with or willingness to learn Python scripting for automation in Abaqus
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
