Senior Technical Consultant - HCM

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Technical HCM Consultant at Capgemini Belgium, you will drive the technical delivery of end-to-end HRIS implementations and evolutions. You combine hands-on development with technical leadership and customer collaboration across cloud and on-premises solutions, including Oracle Cloud HCM, SAP and PeopleSoft.

You will take ownership of a broad range of technical activities and combine multiple roles:

  • As system administrator, configure and manage the infrastructure offered by the Cloud provider.
  • As front-end developer, design user friendly customizations or add-ons that integrate seamlessly with the core product.
  • As technical expert, develop functionality while not losing sight of performance requirements, build and use ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) tools to migrate data and build and configure interfaces to achieve an integrated solution.
  • As a consultant, work together with the customer to gather requirements to design, implement and make the solution work and look together for the roadmap to the future.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have at least five years of relevant experience in a similar role, using your analytical mindset to solve complex technical challenges.
  • You are an expert in SQL and relational databases and have hands-on experience with ERP systems (like Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, or SAP)
  • You have strong development skills and experience with one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Java, Python or JavaScript.
  • You have experience with integrations, APIs, middleware and ETL or data migration tools.
  • You have strong communication skills, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and are comfortable to advise customers.
  • You have a professional working proficiency level in English and either Dutch or French. You are willing to learn the other language.

 

Additional Assets:

  • Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or comparable integration platforms is considered an asset.
