Senior SAP Managing Consultant

About the role

As a Senior SAP Managing Consultant – Logistics, you will guide leading organisations through large‑scale transformations across the full SAP logistics landscape. You combine deep expertise in modules such as SAP MM, SD, EWM, TM, IBP, or S/4HANA Logistics with strong advisory and leadership skills.

You act as a trusted partner for senior client stakeholders, lead project teams, drive solution design, and ensure the successful delivery of integrated logistics flows across the end‑to‑end supply chain.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Solution & Architecture Leadership

  • Lead the design, blueprinting, and implementation of SAP logistics solutions (MM, SD, EWM, TM, IBP, or S/4HANA Logistics).
  • Shape logistics transformation roadmaps and guide clients toward best‑practice S/4HANA target operating models.
  • Ensure end‑to‑end integration across procurement, warehousing, transport, order-to-cash, planning, and manufacturing flows.
  • Challenge requirements and translate them into scalable, future-proof SAP solutions.

 

Advisory & Thought Leadership

  • Advise clients on logistics process optimisation, digitalisation, and supply chain excellence.
  • Deliver assessments, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support pre‑sales activities: solution scoping, effort estimation, and proposal development.
  • Promote SAP innovation (e.g., advanced warehouse automation, transportation optimisation, embedded analytics).

 

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead workstreams or full projects and coordinate cross‑functional SAP teams.
  • Guide and coach consultants, fostering capability development within the team.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and IT.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery, risk management, and customer satisfaction.

Your Profile

  • 15+ years of experience in SAP Logistics consulting.
  • Deep expertise in at least one key area: MM, SD, EWM, TM, IBP, PP, or S/4HANA Logistics.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes.
  • Proven experience leading project teams or workstreams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
