Senior PAS-X Modeller | Life Sciences
Your role
Joining Capgemini...
You will be joining a global leader in engineering services, working at the heart of one of the most exciting and impactful sectors in the world, life sciences. At Capgemini Engineering, we partner with some of the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies to deliver complex, large-scale manufacturing transformation programs. You will be embedded in a thriving life sciences hub, working alongside passionate experts who are shaping the future of how medicines are made, tracked, and delivered to patients around the world.
We are looking for a Senior PAS-X Modeller to lead the on-site design and configuration of electronic batch records and manufacturing workflows in Körber PAS-X for a major life sciences transformation program. This is a hands-on senior role for a true PAS-X expert who thrives in GMP-regulated environments, enjoys stakeholder collaboration, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, robust MES solutions.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Leading the end-to-end design and configuration of gMBRs, MBRs, and ESPs in Körber PAS-X, translating approved manufacturing process requirements, batch records, material flows, equipment logic, and quality controls into fully executable PAS-X designs that meet GMP and data integrity standards.
- Driving and supporting design review sessions, prototype reviews, dry runs, and solution walkthroughs with a wide range of business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across manufacturing, quality, automation, ERP, validation, and MES teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Configuring and validating key PAS-X elements including process steps and sequencing, parameters and calculations, material allocations and flows, equipment references and status logic, exception handling, data collection points, and reusable recipe structures and components.
- Reviewing source documentation to proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks that may impact modelling quality, delivery timelines, or downstream testing, and performing technical dry runs to support issue analysis, corrections, and design refinements.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to other modellers, contributing to the development and maintenance of modelling standards, quality check approaches, and reuse strategies across the program.
- Maintaining clear and thorough documentation of design decisions, assumptions, open items, and change history, ensuring full traceability and auditability in line with GMP expectations.
- Working as a hands-on, highly visible senior presence on-site, collaborating directly with cross-functional subject matter experts to convert complex business and process requirements into robust, scalable PAS-X configurations within a fast-paced, structured project delivery environment.
Your profile
- Technical depth in PAS-X and MES: You bring a minimum of 5 years of strong, hands-on experience with Körber PAS-X recipe authoring and modelling, with a proven track record of delivering electronic batch record solutions in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environments. You have deep understanding of gMBRs, MBRs, ESPs, batch execution processes, material flow and BOM logic, equipment modelling, process parameters, and quality controls.
- GMP and regulated environment expertise: You have a solid grasp of GMP principles, data integrity expectations, and the regulatory context of life sciences manufacturing. Experience in sterile, parenteral, packaging, or other regulated manufacturing environments is a strong advantage, as is familiarity with ERP, LIMS, automation, or interface-related MES touchpoints.
- Stakeholder collaboration and communication: You are confident engaging directly with cross-functional SMEs including manufacturing, quality, automation, and validation teams, and are able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively. You are fluent in English, and your on-site presence and engagement skills are among your strongest attributes.
- Problem-solving and delivery mindset: You have strong analytical and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to identify risks early, drive issue resolution, and maintain high attention to detail and quality throughout. You are comfortable working in large-scale MES deployment programs and structured delivery teams, and thrive in fast-paced, complex project environments.
- Leadership and knowledge sharing: You have experience mentoring or guiding other modellers and contributing to team standards, reuse approaches, and quality practices. You take ownership of your work and bring a proactive, solutions-focused attitude to every stage of delivery.
- Complexity and scale: You have experience designing gMBRs with a high number of basic functions, multiple process variations, or significant operational complexity, and are comfortable managing the full scope of PAS-X modelling from initial design through to dry run and handover.
- Preferred background: Experience working in large-scale MES deployment programs and familiarity with Körper PAS-X in the context of major life sciences transformation programs is highly desirable. A background in systems integration or cross-functional MES program delivery is a plus.
