R&D Consultant - E-Motor Materials Engineering

Your Role

As an R&D Consultant specializing in E-Motor Materials Engineering, you will join our team supporting a leading automotive manufacturer in their advanced research initiatives. You will contribute to the development of innovative materials for future electric motor technologies, working at the cutting edge of sustainable mobility solutions.

 

In this role you will play a key role in:

 

  • Conducting comprehensive research on materials used in electric motor applications, with a focus on steel, copper, magnets, and other relevant materials
  • Analyzing material properties and performance characteristics to optimize E-motor components
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for next-generation electric powertrains
  • Supporting ongoing development projects by providing materials expertise and technical recommendations
  • Preparing detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in materials research or engineering, preferably in the automotive or electrical engineering sectors
  • Strong knowledge of magnetic materials, conductive metals, and their applications in electric motor technology
  • Experience with material characterization techniques and testing methodologies
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Fluent in English
