Job Description
As a Project Engineer in our Manufacturing & Operations Practice, you will be responsible for leading and executing engineering projects for our pharmaceutical clients. You will apply your technical expertise to shape the future of drug production through innovative engineering approaches.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Managing engineering feasibility studies that include scope option analysis to determine best value engineering solutions for pharmaceutical projects.
- Developing comprehensive early scope definitions, accurate capital estimates, realistic timelines, and thorough risk assessments.
- Providing expert engineering design support during feasibility and conceptual design phases for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated solutions across small molecule synthesis technologies, manufacturing processes, and packaging operations.
- Applying technical knowledge to solve complex engineering challenges in API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and Drug Product (Parenteral and OSD) environments.
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand requirements and present engineering solutions that meet their specific needs.
Your profile
- Engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 7-12 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry projects.
- Proven experience in Drug Products or API manufacturing environments (mandatory).
- Strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in conducting engineering feasibility studies, developing capital estimates, and performing risk assessments.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Dutch.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective communication with team members and clients.
