Production Engineer

Your Role

As a Production Engineer, you will ensure the long-term sustainability, quality, and reliability of complex ASIC products in manufacturing. Working across the full product lifecycle, you will resolve technical challenges, improve product robustness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Enhancing product sustainability by addressing yield losses, test escapes, and other production stage issues
• Developing, validating, and implementing changes to manufacturing processes, suppliers, and acceptance criteria
• Driving quality improvement initiatives with the ambition of achieving zero customer returns
• Supporting existing ASIC products in production through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical change management
• Leading technical problem-solving activities, taking issues from initial identification to complete resolution
• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and external manufacturing partners to ensure consistent product performance
• Taking initiative on broad, technically challenging assignments requiring creativity, structured analysis, and strong decision-making

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Electronics (or equivalent), with 3+ years of relevant experience in production engineering, assembly engineering, or semiconductor test engineering
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog electronics
• Very good understanding of statistical analysis, data-driven decision making, and Six Sigma methodology
• Practical experience with Python and/or C++ for data analysis, automation, or production support tools
• Knowledge of qualification standards such as MIL STD (automotive, space, medical, industrial) is considered a strong plus
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-moving production environment
• Strong communication skills, with English as a required working language
• Proven problem-solving ability, including structured root cause analysis and risk-based decision making
