Your Role

Capgemini is looking for an experienced project manager / project coordinator / delivery architect to work on ongoing projects for a client in the utilities sector. The primary focus is to take forward and deliver ongoing and new projects in 2026 or 2027.

The key project involves a wide range of stakeholders from the utilities sector. The role is highly facilitative, consensus-seeking, and solution-focussed to ensure continued stakeholder commitment and successful project delivery.

Our future colleauge will work in a team alongside the client's IT project manager, an external party responsible for part of the development, a testcoordinator and SAP developer (from Capgemini), and SPOCs from all stakeholders. The client tends to adopt a waterfall approach instead of an agile approach for their projects.

Your Profile

  • Relevant experience in senior delivery roles as an engagement manager, project leader, architect or change manager
  • Prior experience in the utility and/or telecom sector(s), as well as knowlegde of key business processes gained through previous engagements.
  • Experienced with enterprise application integration involving systems such as GIS, ERP, other asset management systems, or real-time systems. Hands-on experience with API integration, Swagger, PostMan, or similiar tooling.
  • Experience in the practical use of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, GIS solution architecture (design, implementation), and spatial data structures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to lead project teams, advise, influence, and present to senior leadership.
  • Professional fluency in English as well as Dutch or French.
  • Willingness to work on site 2 days a week

 

Strong assets:

  • Experience with Safe Software FME or other tools for spatial data ETL.
  • Familiarity with Flemish Government agencies and legislation related to the utilities sector (Digitaal Vlaanderen, Athumi, GIPOD, KLIP, ...)
