Operational Efficiency Leader | Defense

Job Description

As an Operational Efficiency Leader, you will be at the forefront of driving transformational change and operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in Lean methodologies to optimize processes, eliminate waste, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You will play a key role in:

• Leading multidisciplinary teams in applying Lean methodologies for effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
• Spearheading efforts to address and rectify pressing issues, aiming to cut down response times by 50% or more for product, process, and organizational challenges
• Forming and leading a rapid-response "tiger team" to tackle issues with decisive actions and streamline the process of handling client concerns
• Fast-tracking the acquisition of new accreditations, upholding a progressive culture, and achieving superior, tangible results
• Implementing new organizational frameworks and processes (e.g., S&OP), eliminating departmental silos, and cultivating a problem-solving mindset across the team

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading practical lean projects in the field
• Master's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects
• Expertise in Lean methodologies and 8D/9S Problem Solving (minimum 5 years)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities with the ability to thrive under pressure
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
• Proven track record in driving cultural and structural transformation within an organization
