YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Model Planner to join our automotive team. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational planning of vehicle models throughout their lifecycle, from early product definition through to production launch and post-launch monitoring. You will play a central role in aligning business objectives, industrial constraints, and market requirements, with a specific focus on accessory scope.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Leading the strategic and operational planning of vehicle models across their full lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business objectives, industrial constraints, and market requirements from early product definition phases through to production launch and post-launch monitoring.
- Defining and coordinating accessory strategies for key vehicle models including, overseeing their integration into the model line-up and ensuring alignment with customer expectations and evolving market trends.
- Acting as a central point of coordination across a wide range of stakeholders including Product Planning, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout all planning phases.
- Monitoring post-launch performance and market feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, adjusting planning strategies in response to commercial, technical, or regulatory developments.
- Supporting the development of product and accessory roadmaps by conducting market analysis, benchmarking competitor offerings, and translating insights into actionable planning recommendations for internal and client stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE
- A Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Automotive Technology, Product Management, or a related discipline, combined with a minimum of 2 years of experience in product planning, model planning, or a related role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams such as Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs to deliver complex planning programs.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret market data, customer trends, and business requirements to inform product and accessory planning decisions.
- Solid understanding of vehicle lifecycle management, product definition processes, and accessory integration within automotive model line-ups.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex planning information clearly and confidently to both technical teams and senior business audiences, combined with strong organisational and project management capabilities.
