Job Description
As a Metrologist Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be a measurement specialist responsible for ensuring precision and quality in industrial settings. You will work in a controlled environment, managing calibration processes and maintaining measuring instruments to support our clients' quality assurance needs.
You will play a key role in:
- Verifying and calibrating measuring devices (scales, thermometers, calipers) according to ISO and other international standards to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Conducting quality assurance checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications, reducing scrap and non-conformities
- Maintaining and overseeing the proper functioning of measurement instrument fleets, ensuring their reliability and accuracy
- Analyzing measurement data and preparing comprehensive technical reports to support process improvements
- Providing technical support and training to operators on the correct use of measuring instruments and offering guidance on technical choices
Your Profile
- Engineering Degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in metrology or quality control in an industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and demonstrated technical curiosity in measurement systems
- Proficiency with computer tools and metrology software, with ability to analyze and interpret measurement data
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards, particularly ISO standards related to measurement and calibration
- Experience with calibration procedures and verification methods for various measuring instruments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot measurement issues and recommend solutions
