Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Test Engineer (Dutch and English speaking) for one of our clients, where prototypes are built, tested, and refined. You will be the driving force behind testing and developing new products, with a focus on test efficiency and effectiveness.

In close collaboration with the product development departments, you will be responsible for the construction, testing, and analysis of new prototype machines, components, and concepts.

 

A selection of your responsibilities:

  • Design test setups and test programs in consultation with the project team
  • Manage test setups and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Supervise lab technicians in prototype preparation and testing
  • Plan laboratory and test activities efficiently
  • Conduct tests, take measurements, and analyze prototypes and components
  • Share test results with the project team and contribute to solution development
  • Monitor test parameters in real time and intervene when necessary
  • Automate test procedures and manage data acquisition
  • Collaborate with design teams to interpret and act on test results

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and mechanical principles
  • Experience in test setup design, automation, and data analysis
  • Familiarity with programming and data acquisition tools
  • Excellent communicator, both in Dutch and English
