Mechanical Engineer

Your Role

Sector: Defense

 

  • Design, develop, and modify mechanical components and assemblies using CREO PTC.
  • Manage and maintain technical data, documentation, and configurations in Windchill.
  • Ensure project compliance with industry standards, specifications, and company guidelines.
  • Support product lifecycle processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design and develop electrical harnesses (cabling, routing and electrical integration).
  • Create, modify, and validate 3D models and detailed technical drawings for manufacturing.
  • Apply best practices in CAD modeling, GD&T, and drawing standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Manage design revisions and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
  • Provide technical support and documentation throughout the product development cycle.

Your Profile

  • Fluent in French OR English (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience with CREO PTC.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in aerospace, railway, or military industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools is an asset.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with Windchill is a plus.
