Your Role
As a maintenance planner you play a critical role in the maintenance workflow by ensuring efficient planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability, minimize downtime, and improve operational performance.
As a gatekeeper, you control, validate, and regulate maintenance activities to ensure safety, compliance, and proper execution of all work interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
- Control access to the maintenance schedule and prevent conflicts
- Prepare work orders (job plans, procedures, required resources)
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams and safety teams to schedule downtime
- Prioritize tasks based on equipment criticality and business impact
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Ensure all required permits
- Confirm availability of resources (technicians, spare parts, tools)
- Review and validate maintenance requests before execution (quality, completeness, priority)
- Ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and HSE rules
- Stop, reject, or escalate non-compliant activities
Your Profile
- Knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP PM, Maximo, etc.)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Technical knowledge (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation)
- Knowledge of HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Maintenance, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in maintenance or industrial planning
- Experience in maintenance, operations, or HSE
- Field experience is a strong advantage
