MES - Engagement Manager
Your role
As an Engagement Manager for MES Pharma, you will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for managing complex digital manufacturing programs within regulated pharmaceutical environments. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, you will combine deep MES expertise with strong delivery leadership and business development capabilities to drive excellence, compliance, and growth across your portfolio.
In this role you will play a key role in:

- Ensuring regulatory and quality compliance throughout all engagements, governing adherence to GMP/GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, GAMP 5, Data Integrity (ALCOA+), CSV, and CSA requirements, while supporting internal and external audits.
- Building and nurturing executive-level client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for Manufacturing Directors, Plant Managers, Digital Manufacturing Leaders, QA Managers, and Operations Directors, translating strategic priorities into actionable digital transformation roadmaps.
- Managing engagement financials with full accountability for revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and resource utilisation across your portfolio of accounts.
- Identifying and developing business growth opportunities, supporting pre-sales, proposal management, solution shaping, and bid activities, while promoting MES, Smart Factory, Pharma 4.0, Manufacturing Intelligence, and Industrial IoT solutions.
- Leading, developing, and inspiring multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability while supporting recruitment, performance reviews, and career development plans.
Your profile
- Experienced program leader with a minimum of 8 years managing complex IT/OT, MES, or Digital Manufacturing programs within the Pharmaceutical and/or Life Sciences sector, with proven ability to govern international, multi-vendor initiatives and manage executive-level stakeholders.
- Deep MES Pharma expertise, including hands-on experience with platforms such as Siemens Opcenter Execution Pharma, Werum/Körber PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, or equivalent, and strong knowledge of MES functional domains including EBR, Recipe Management, Genealogy & Traceability, Equipment Integration, and Shop Floor Control.
- Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge, with solid understanding of GMP/GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, GAMP 5, ALCOA+, CSV/CSA, and ISA-95/ISA-88 standards, applied in a project delivery context.
- Business development and client management capabilities, with experience in pre-sales, proposal management, and account growth, combined with a customer-centric mindset, strategic thinking, and strong negotiation and communication skills.
