Litho Process Engineer | Semiconductors

YOUR ROLE

As a Litho Process Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing semiconductor manufacturing processes through lithography innovation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions for both internal programs and external customers.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Analyzing and discussing lithography process development requests to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions
• Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to optimize lithography processes for semiconductor manufacturing
• Delivering high-quality lithography processes that meet the exacting standards of imec's internal programs and customers
• Collaborating with the mask design team to generate lithography design rules and data for new test mask design and tape out
• Defining and executing process, equipment, and material development projects with suppliers in cross-functional teams
• Documenting and transferring the developed lithography processes to imec's pilot production line

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, material science, nano technology, physics, or another relevant field
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing with knowledge of lithography is highly valued
• Knowledge of CD and overlay metrology would be highly considered
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate and communicate fact-based insights
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and responsibility for projects
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to influence, engage, and motivate others
• Innovative mindset with a results-driven approach to challenges
• Fluency in both written and spoken English to function effectively in a multicultural environment
