YOUR ROLE
As a Litho Process Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing semiconductor manufacturing processes through lithography innovation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions for both internal programs and external customers.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Analyzing and discussing lithography process development requests to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions
- Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to optimize lithography processes for semiconductor manufacturing
- Delivering high-quality lithography processes that meet the exacting standards of imec's internal programs and customers
- Collaborating with the mask design team to generate lithography design rules and data for new test mask design and tape out
- Defining and executing process, equipment, and material development projects with suppliers in cross-functional teams
- Documenting and transferring the developed lithography processes to imec's pilot production line
YOUR PROFILE
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, material science, nano technology, physics, or another relevant field
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing with knowledge of lithography is highly valued
- Knowledge of CD and overlay metrology would be highly considered
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate and communicate fact-based insights
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and responsibility for projects
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to influence, engage, and motivate others
- Innovative mindset with a results-driven approach to challenges
- Fluency in both written and spoken English to function effectively in a multicultural environment
