YOUR ROLE
As a Li-ion Battery Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing lithium-ion battery systems for automotive applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance battery solutions that meet the evolving needs of the automotive industry.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Conducting comprehensive battery cell characterization and performance testing to evaluate and optimize battery systems
- Developing and enhancing battery management systems (BMS) to ensure optimal battery performance, safety, and longevity
- Designing effective thermal management solutions for battery packs to maintain optimal operating conditions
- Performing detailed safety analysis and implementing robust safety measures for battery systems
- Collaborating with automotive OEMs and suppliers to integrate battery systems into vehicle platforms
YOUR PROFILE
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with focus on battery technology
- Proven experience in battery testing methodologies and equipment
- Strong understanding of battery systems including cells, modules, and packs for automotive applications
- Knowledge of solid-state batteries, electric motors, and power electronics
- Project management skills with ability to lead technical initiatives
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS) and related control algorithms
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations related to battery systems
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with demonstrated innovative thinking
- Fluent in English
