Laboratory Operations Project Engineer | Life Sciences

Your Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the project team within the microbiological laboratory at our client in Puurs. You will be responsible for the verification and implementation of microbiological test methods for new products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Preparing and drafting comprehensive verification protocols for microbiological test methods
  • Coordinating the scheduling of verification tests with the Microlab Operations Team to ensure efficient workflow
  • Following up on verification samples and associated tests, maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process
  • Documenting and reporting verification results in a clear, concise manner for stakeholders
  • Initiating, describing, and following up on deviations, implementing corrective actions when necessary

Your Profile

  • You hold a Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry)
  • Daily mobilty to our client in Puurs
  • Experience in an aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or a microbiological laboratory is an asset, though motivated graduates are also welcome
  • You have a pragmatic mindset with a strong drive to find solutions and achieve results
  • You are communicative and able to motivate and inspire colleagues at different levels
  • You possess strong technical writing skills and can effectively document complex procedures
