Junior Quality Engineer | Automotive

YOUR ROLE

Location: Zeebruges

In this role, you will play a key role in:

• Ensuring quality compliance by monitoring accessory installation processes on vehicles and upholding quality standards and the Quality Assurance Manual across all workshop activities.
• Driving continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies, supporting operational excellence initiatives, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigating quality issues through structured root cause analysis using industry-standard methodologies, ensuring issues are resolved swiftly and sustainably.
• Conducting audits across workshop processes and quality systems to proactively identify risks and ensure consistent performance standards are maintained.
• Tracking and reporting KPIs related to quality performance, providing clear and actionable insights to workshop teams and stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field).
• You bring experience or a strong interest in Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or Automotive environments, and are eager to apply this in a hands-on operational setting.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality tools such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, or Lean methodologies being a distinct advantage.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch, and you thrive when working closely with cross-functional operational teams in a collaborative, results-driven environment.
• You have a hands-on mindset, are comfortable on the workshop floor, and take initiative when it comes to improving processes and quality outcomes.
