Junior Application Controls Engineer I West Flanders

Job Description

Join a team developing and validating control systems for off-highway driveline applications, including transmissions and electrified systems. This role supports system engineering, software implementation, testing, and customer support, with a focus on continuous improvement and functional safety.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining system requirements and V&V criteria
  • Support implementation and documentation of control systems
  • Conduct software testing (simulator, test bench, vehicle)
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers
  • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Contribute to process and product improvements

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Electromechanics or Electronics
  • Fluent in English & Dutch
  • Knowledge of embedded controls, transmission logic, and off-highway vehicle systems
  • Familiarity with electronics, hydraulics, mechanics, and vehicle communication technologies
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and measurement tools (e.g., Canapé, Canalyser)
