Job Description

As an Automation/Instrumentation Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a key role in designing and integrating advanced instrumentation and automation systems for test benches. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.

 

In this role you will play a key role in:

 

  • Designing and integrating instrumentation and automation systems for test benches
  • Defining the overall and detailed architecture of test benches (instrumentation and automation)
  • Writing technical specifications, requirement documents, and design documentation
  • Developing and validating PLC programs (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC)
  • Maintaining equipment (sensors, PLCs, HMI interfaces)

Your profile

  • Engineering degree (Bac+5) in instrumentation, automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent field
  • 3-5 years of experience in automation and instrumentation engineering
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC Flexible) and HMI design
  • Strong knowledge of sensors, measurement lines, interfaces, and uncertainty calculations
  • Experience with communication protocols and safety standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English
