Job Description
- Location: Liège
- Verifying incoming items against reference documents and inspecting products according to specifications such as technical drawings, standards and contractual requirements, while drafting detailed measurement and inspection reports
- Making acceptance decisions on incoming products, identifying non-conformities, issuing non-conformance reports, and coordinating corrective actions with suppliers and subcontractors
- Participating in cross-functional reviews involving technical, logistics, production and supplier quality teams to determine and implement the most appropriate corrective actions
- Contributing to root cause analysis activities using structured problem-solving methods, and proposing improvements to both products and inspection processes
- Monitoring performance indicators within your scope and supporting the drafting and review of inspection procedures for new and existing products
Job Description - Grade Specific
- You hold a technical degree (A2 or Bachelor's level) in mechanics or electromechanics
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial quality control
- You have strong hands-on knowledge of measurement tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters, CMM machines, 3D scanners and optical systems
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools and communicate effectively in both French and English, with solid technical English skills
- You are analytical, detail-oriented, autonomous and proactive, with a collaborative mindset that allows you to thrive in cross-functional team environments
- Nice to have: knowledge of EN9100 or ISO 9001, experience with problem-solving tools (Ishikawa, 8D) and familiarity with FMEA methodology
