HIL Test Engineer - Telematics & Infotainment

YOUR ROLE

As a System Tester specializing in Hardware-in-Loop (HiL) testing for automotive telematics and infotainment systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of next-generation automotive systems. Working with a major automotive OEM, you will design and execute sophisticated test scenarios that simulate real-world conditions to validate system functionality and identify potential issues before production.

 

In this role you will play a key role in:

 

  • Designing and implementing comprehensive HiL test environments that accurately simulate vehicle conditions and system interactions
  • Developing and executing test cases to validate telematics and infotainment systems against technical requirements
  • Creating and maintaining test automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage
  • Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and documenting issues with clear reproduction steps
  • Collaborating with cross-functional development teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Documenting testing procedures, results, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and process improvement

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience in software testing and validation, preferably in automotive environments
  • Strong knowledge of Hardware-in-Loop testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages, particularly Python
  • Proficiency with automotive testing tools such as vTestStudio, CANoe, and CANalyser
  • Understanding of automotive communication protocols and embedded systems architecture
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong documentation and communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with teams
