HCM - Medior System Administrator

YOUR ROLE

As a Medior System Administrator at Capgemini Belgium, you will be part of a team responsible for a large enterprise HR landscape spanning virtual servers, cloud-native platform services, and SaaS solutions supporting a PeopleSoft HRIS implementation and its production environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will manage and support our HR technology landscape, including HRIS platforms, cloud infrastructure, integrations, identity & access management, analytics, and containerized workloads.
• You will manage Oracle Linux environments and play a key role in our Windows-to-Linux migration roadmap.
• You will administer and optimize cloud-native infrastructure, including Kubernetes, virtual servers, managed cloud platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• You will collaborate with development teams to deliver secure integrations using authentication, authorization, identity federation, APIs, networking, and certificate management.
• You will automate and improve platform operations using Terraform, shell scripting, and application development, while ensuring cybersecurity best practices.
• You will support application and platform upgrades, working closely with customers and colleagues on testing, deployment planning, operational readiness, and knowledge sharing.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in an IT-oriented field.
• You have at least three years of experience in a similar role, working on complex projects, using your analytical skills to solve problems.
• You have strong knowledge of Oracle Linux or another Linux distribution.
• You have experience in different infrastructure domains, from cloud service configuration to application support.
• You have experience with infrastructure-as-code and shell scripting.
• You have strong communication, stakeholder collaboration skills and implement a customer-focused approach.
• You have a professional working proficiency level in English and either Dutch or French. You are willing to learn the other language.

Additional Assets:

• A specialization in system and network administration is considered an asset.
• Experience with Oracle technologies such as PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Identity and Access Management, or Kubernetes platforms is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database Administration is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of the Windows ecosystem is considered an asset.
