Functional Test Engineer

YOUR ROLE

As a Functional Test Engineer, you will join a team delivering high-quality digital solutions within a large-scale business environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring applications meet business expectations and quality standards before they reach end users.

 

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Analyse requirements, user stories and functional specifications to identify test conditions.
  • Design, execute and maintain functional test cases and test scenarios.
  • Detect, document and follow up defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Assess quality risks and provide recommendations regarding release readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers and project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality practices.


YOUR PROFILE

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in functional or manual software testing.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certified.
  • Strong analytical skills with a quality-driven mindset.
  • Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other national language and English.
