Forward Deployed Manager - ED&A

As a Forward Deployed Manager, you will be the person who makes that real on the client’s side.

YOUR ROLE

As a Forward Deployed Manager, you operate at the intersection of engineering, consulting, and delivery. You embed directly with client teams, taking AI and automation solutions from early validation to stable, adopted systems, often as part of a broader AI transformation programme. You choose the right technology for each client based on their needs, trust requirements, and business impact, drawing on tools such as Claude, n8n, and the Microsoft ecosystem. What matters most is taking an idea from prototype to a working solution that is integrated into real enterprise environments and adopted in day-to-day operations.

Your role includes:.

•    Translating high-value business challenges into working prototypes and proofs of concept.
•    Acting as the technical counterpart to client stakeholders, building trust through tangible outcomes.
•    Designing and building AI-enabled and automated solutions (e.g. agentic workflows, decision-support tools, LLM applications) using tools such as Claude, n8n, and other low-code/no-code platforms.
•    Making pragmatic trade-offs between scope, speed, cost, and maintainability to maximise delivery impact.
•    Applying a product mindset by defining success metrics, gathering feedback, and iterating solutions.
•    Ensuring solutions are documented, supportable, and ready for production handover to IT.
•    Supporting client adoption and identifying reusable patterns that can be scaled across engagements.
•    Collaborating with Industry Leads and internal experts to turn delivery experience into stronger offerings and reusable assets across the firm

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for managers with 3-5 years of experience across several of the following: 

General and advisory 

•    Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.
•    Experience advising senior client stakeholders and building lasting client relationships grounded in trust, credibility, and delivered outcomes.
•    Willingness to contribute beyond individual engagements and support broader consulting initiatives.
•    Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and make sound delivery decisions.
•    Ownership mindset and a bias for action.
•    Fluency in English and Dutch or French.

Technical 

•    Strong hands-on experience as a software engineer, AI engineer, or technical delivery professional, including client-facing engagements.
•    Proven ability to design, build, and deploy solutions from concept through to business adoption.
•    Practical experience building AI-enabled solutions (e.g. LLM applications, automations, agentic workflows) using tools such as Claude, n8n, or the 
Microsoft ecosystem.
•    Strong engineering fundamentals, including system design, APIs, integrations, and production readiness.
