Job Description

As an Energetic Materials Engineer, you will tackle diverse challenges spanning all aspects of energetic materials, from propulsion to detonation, initiation, and pyrotechnical compositions. You will play a key role in:

 

  • Developing and improving rocket motors, warheads, and fuze pyrotechnic products from concept to production, considering both energetic material and mechanical perspectives
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their requirements and developing product specifications that meet their needs
  • Conducting comprehensive testing and evaluation of energetic materials products, both in-house and at external test facilities
  • Creating and maintaining critical pyrotechnic-related documentation including FMECA, safety analyses, and reliability assessments
  • Supporting the production of in-service pyrotechnic products by resolving quality issues and implementing continuous improvements

Your profile

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanics, Physics, or a related field with specialization or knowledge in Energetic Materials
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in energetic materials development within the defense or aerospace industries
  • Demonstrated knowledge of energetic materials, chemical reactions, mechanical design principles, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with full lifecycle product development including design, development, prototype testing, manufacturing, and implementation
  • Strong communication skills in French and English
