YOUR ROLE

As an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in medical devices, you will be part of our innovative engineering team developing cutting-edge healthcare solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement embedded software for medical devices that improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.

 

In this role you will play a key role in:

 

  • Designing and developing embedded software for medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards including IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and FDA requirements
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for embedded systems using languages such as C/C++, Python, or other relevant programming languages
  • Performing thorough testing and validation of software components to ensure reliability, safety, and performance in medical applications
  • Collaborating with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and quality assurance teams to integrate software with medical device hardware
  • Troubleshooting complex software issues and implementing effective solutions while maintaining detailed documentation for regulatory compliance

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with at least 3/4 years of experience in embedded software development for medical devices
  • Proficient in embedded programming languages (C/C++, Python) with strong knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller programming
  • Experience with medical device software development lifecycle and familiarity with regulatory standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA requirements)
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for embedded systems in regulated environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
