Electronics (HW) Engineer

YOUR ROLE

As an Electronics Engineer, you will perform HW verification activities in the labs and provide support for the qualification activities. You will play a pivotal role in developing, designing cutting-edge technological solutions, and delivering high-quality engineering services. Together with your team, you will work on exciting projects in the telecommunications industry!

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate, by measurements and documentation review, the correct implementation of a design and the used components on the design. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Chip interfaces.
  • Clock topologies.
  • Power rails.
  • Functional performance.
  • Programmed device behavior.
  • SerDes characteristics.
  • Qualification support.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical engineering.
  • Has a passion for designing electronic products (IoT, trackers, communication equipment, ...).
  • Brings at least 1 or 2 years of experience with Electronics CAD systems (OrCAD, Cadence, Eagle, etc.) and knowledge in Power Electronics.
  • A typical test setup will contain the following equipment and tools which shall be provided:
    • Setup equipment (NT, LT, splitters, rack, subrack, modems, cables, connectors, Fibers, ONU, Optical Modules, …)
    • (High Bandwidth) oscilloscope
    • Multimeter
    • Spectrum Analyser
    • Weblibrary
    • (Portable) PC or Workstation
    • Spirent testcenter
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and knowledge of French and/or Dutch desirable.
