Job Description
As an Electronic Test Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex electronic systems used in critical industries. In this role you will play a key role in:
- Carrying out complete testing of professional electronic assemblies based on test dossiers and specifications, ensuring strict manufacturing criteria are met
- Performing in-line testing (Test in Line) and troubleshooting of complex small series within a team of approximately 10 people, respecting costs, deadlines and Supply Chain requirements (OTD, OCD, TAT)
- Applying and enforcing ESD and FOD standards throughout all testing and debugging activities
- Acting as backup support for the teams based at the Staden site, including interventions on integrated vehicles at the Tubize site
- Using laboratory equipment such as analysers, spectrum analysers and probes to execute test procedures of varying complexity, while utilising ERP tools to track and report progress
Your Profile
- You hold a Graduate/Bachelor (A1) degree in Applied Electronics, or bring equivalent professional experience in an industrial electronics environment
- You have at least 5 years of experience in an electronics production or technical environment, with a strong focus on testing and debugging of boards and systems
- You are proficient in French; knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset given the collaboration with the Staden site, and technical English is required
- You are familiar with standard laboratory equipment (analysers, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes) and have hands-on knowledge of ESD standards and ERP systems
- You demonstrate a problem-solving mindset with a strong debugging orientation, and are comfortable working with test procedures of varying levels of complexity
