Job Description

As an EI&C Engineer based in Liège, you will play a key role in:

  • Conducting in-depth technical analyses and producing high-quality engineering reports, including maintenance recommendations, engineering assessments, and non-conformity reports, ensuring the highest standards of nuclear safety are maintained at all times.
  • Leading and participating in expert technical studies related to environmental and seismic qualification, ageing management, and technological obsolescence of electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment performing important safety functions.
  • Reviewing, challenging, and verifying technical study notes, while ensuring the accurate and up-to-date maintenance of relevant engineering databases.
  • Supporting and contributing to the quality control of section activities, ensuring compliance with applicable nuclear safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Autonomously managing your assigned tasks and actions, while contributing to cross-functional working groups and ensuring consistency across shared technical topics.

Your Profile

  • You hold a degree in civil or industrial engineering
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a nuclear power plant environment or equivalent highly regulated industry.
  • You have a foundational knowledge of nuclear qualification of electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment, and are eager to deepen your expertise in this field.
  • You have strong analytical skills, excellent written communication abilities, and are comfortable managing large volumes of data and equipment with precision and rigour.
  • You are autonomous, well-organised, flexible, and proactive, with a natural ability to integrate into a team and adapt to a complex, safety-critical environment.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access) and SAP
  • Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset
