Your role
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Conducting risk assessments and safety audits across project sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and international EHS regulations
- Supporting the development and implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures, and training programs for teams across the organisation
- Collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to integrate EHS best practices into project planning and day-to-day operations
- Monitoring and reporting on EHS performance indicators, investigating incidents and near-misses, and recommending corrective and preventive actions
- Contributing to sustainability initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce environmental impact and supporting the organisation's broader ESG commitments
Your profile
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an EHS or related engineering role, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering services environment
- You bring solid knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and are comfortable applying them in a practical, hands-on context
- You are a strong communicator and collaborator, able to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels to promote a culture of safety
- You demonstrate a proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and propose pragmatic solutions
- You are fluent in English and French or Dutch, both written and spoken, to operate effectively in the multilingual environment of Brussels
