Your Role
As a Drug Delivery Systems Engineer for one of our prestigious clients, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and qualification activities for primary packaging materials, dosing devices, and combination products on a global scale.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Qualifying container closure systems (vials, bottles, bags, blisters, syringes, etc.) for new drug development programs, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and requirements
- Defining qualification strategies and coordinating comprehensive testing programs both internally and with external vendors, including Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR), extractables and leachables, and container closure integrity testing
- Creating detailed specifications and gathering compliance information from suppliers to ensure all materials meet regulatory requirements
- Authoring protocols, reports, and scientific documents including development reports and risk assessments with precision and clarity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of drug delivery systems with pharmaceutical products
- Staying current with industry regulations and standards related to pharmaceutical packaging and delivery systems
Your Profile
- You have a master with a scientific background, preferably in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Engineering
- You can go at least once per week to Beerse
- You demonstrate a proactive attitude and can work independently while maintaining strong communication with team members
- You possess excellent critical thinking skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- You adapt easily to changing situations and demonstrate flexibility in your approach to work
- You communicate effectively in English (fluency in Dutch is a plus)
- You have a genuine eagerness to learn and grow in the pharmaceutical packaging field
- You can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
