YOUR ROLE

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing DevOps practices and infrastructure following industry best practices. You will design and implement deployment strategies, automation pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable, and efficient delivery of applications in cloud environments. This role requires strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Define and execute deployment strategies for cloud-native applications.
  • Manage and optimize containerized environments using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
  • Ensure security compliance and follow OWASP best practices across deployments.
  • Automate workflows and processes, including workforce automation for operational efficiency.
  • Manage PostgreSQL databases and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Support event-driven architectures and integrate with Kafka for real-time processing.
  • Collaborate with development teams for code reviews and best practices in cloud development.
  • Leverage AI tools and frameworks to optimize DevOps workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance deployment efficiency.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Language: Proficiency in Dutch and English (French is considered an asset).
  • Strong experience in DevOps practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes/OpenShift for container orchestration.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and Kafka.
  • Understanding of security principles, compliance frameworks, and OWASP guidelines.
  • Experience with automation frameworks and scripting for operational efficiency.
  • Ability to integrate AI-driven tools into DevOps processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

 

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with SAML, OAuth 2.0, and advanced security protocols.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices.
