Data Governance Collibra Platform Engineer

Your Role

As a Data Governance Collibra Platform Engineer, you play a critical role in helping organizations build trusted, governed, and AI-ready data ecosystems. Working at the intersection of data engineering, governance, and platform integration, you design and implement governance capabilities that enable transparency, compliance, and business value from data. You collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure metadata, lineage, and data quality are embedded into modern cloud and analytics platforms. This role aligns strongly with the Data & AI community's focus on data trust, governance, and scalable data solutions.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Implementing and configuring enterprise data governance platforms, with a strong focus on Collibra and related governance technologies.
• Integrating governance capabilities with modern data platforms, cloud environments, data lakes, and data pipelines.
• Enabling and maintaining metadata management, data cataloguing, business glossaries, data lineage, and data quality processes.
• Collaborating with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to establish scalable and sustainable governance frameworks.
• Automating governance processes and promoting reusable patterns that accelerate adoption across data initiatives.
• Supporting AI, analytics, and regulatory requirements by ensuring transparency, traceability, and trusted data assets throughout the data lifecycle.

Your Profile

We are looking for a data professional who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for data governance and trusted data management. You enjoy solving complex data challenges, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping organizations unlock the value of their data through governance, quality, and transparency.

• Experience working with data governance platforms, preferably Collibra.
• Strong background in data engineering, data management, metadata management, or data architecture.
• Good understanding of data governance principles, metadata, data lineage, data quality, and data stewardship concepts.
• Professional working proficiency in English, Dutch or French is required.
