Data Governance Collibra Platform Engineer

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Data Governance Collibra Platform Engineer. You specialize in implementing and integrating data governance platforms such as Collibra within modern data ecosystems to support trusted analytics and AI use cases. You work closely with data engineers and architects to operationalize metadata management lineage and data quality. Your focus is on automation integration and scalability so that data governance becomes a natural part of how data platforms are built and used across the organization. 

Your role: 

You implement and integrate data governance platforms into modern data ecosystems. You ensure governance capabilities are automated scalable and embedded into data platforms. 

Core responsibilities 

• Implement and configure data governance platforms such as Collibra   
• Integrate governance tools with data platforms and pipelines   
• Support metadata lineage and data quality use cases   
• Work closely with data engineers and architects   
• Promote automation and reuse in governance implementations 
• Enable metadata lineage and governance capabilities that support AI transparency and compliance 

Your profile: 

Must haves   

• Experience with data governance platforms preferably Collibra   
• Strong technical background in data engineering or architecture   
• Understanding of metadata lineage and data quality concepts 
• Professional working proficiency in English is required. Dutch and or French are a strong advantage. 

Nice to haves   

• Experience with Azure and Databricks   
• API integration or automation experience
