Job Description

You design and build modern cloud-based data platforms that support analytics and AI use cases. By delivering scalable ingestion transformation and high-quality data, you enable downstream analytics for advanced reporting and future AI consumption. Working with Azure Databricks and modern data architectures, you help clients transform raw data into trusted scalable and future ready data products. You join a strong Data and AI community where engineering excellence, continuous learning and collaboration are central. You work on challenging environments with real impact while growing your expertise in modern data platforms. 

Job Description - Grade Specific

Your role: 

You build and evolve modern cloud-based data platforms that enable analytics reporting and AI use cases. You work close to the data and close to the business to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions. 

Core responsibilities 

  • Design and develop data pipelines on modern cloud platforms   
  • Implement data ingestion transformation and data modeling patterns   
  • Ensure data quality performance and cost awareness in data solutions   
  • Collaborate with architects, analytics consultants and client teams   
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices 
  • Enable data availability and quality for advanced analytics and AI use cases 

 

Your profile: 

Must haves   

  • Strong experience as a data engineer on modern data platforms   
  • Hands on experience with Azure and Databricks   
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts 
  • Professional working proficiency in English is required. Dutch and or French are a strong advantage. 

 

Nice to haves   

  • Experience with data governance or data quality concepts   
  • Consulting or customer facing experience
